THE SHORT FILM
CASANDRO is a multilingual crime drama set in the heat-stricken town of Arizona, where a mother and daughter are entangled in the rise and unraveling of a black-market pharmaceutical empire built on a fictional drug called Centhium. Told in Malayalam, Spanish, and English, the film explores the emotional cost of legacy, control, and generational silence. As power shifts and secrets surface, Casandro becomes a meditation on identity, morality, and the burden of survival. At its core, it is the story of a family bound by duty—and undone by the very substance that gave them power.
BOUND BY DUTY, TESTED IN TIME.
MORALITY BEGINS WHEN COURAGE ACTS WITHOUT PRAISE.
