leading the creation of a 700+ member community focused on empowering women across film, television, and digital media. Directed initiatives that encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration, organized guest speaker events, and built connections with industry professionals, faculty, and alumni.
Director and creator of Casandro, overseeing full execution from pre-production to post. Managed a multilingual cast and crew, coordinated complex warehouse shoots involving over 40 extras, and led departments through detailed scheduling, set design, and safety protocols including firearm supervision. Maintained the creative vision while navigating logistical challenges, delivering a culturally grounded narrative in Spanish, Malayalam, and English.
Concept Development Lead for the SCADpro x Deloitte Education project focused on integrating AI into higher education systems. Led the creative strategy and development of user-centered concepts, collaborating with designers, researchers, and Deloitte stakeholders to propose scalable AI solutions that enhance learning, accessibility, and student support across academic institutions.
COCA COLA REFRESHING COMMERCIAL
Served as 2nd Assistant Director on a Coca-Cola commercial, playing a key role in maintaining the pace and organization of a high-pressure professional set. Oversaw background coordination and talent movement, ensuring every performer was camera-ready and in position according to the shooting schedule. Acted as a direct line of communication between departments, facilitating real-time updates, call times, and adjustments from the 1st AD to the wider crew. Monitored set flow across multiple locations and scenes, assisting with time management to keep production on track while adapting to shifting conditions. Maintained a calm and efficient working environment, ensuring safety, clarity, and momentum across the shoot.
STUDENT FILMS | CREW
Experience on various student productions has provided a comprehensive understanding of set operations, with a primary focus on roles such as First Assistant Director and Script Supervisor. As First AD, responsibilities included scheduling, time management, and ensuring clear communication between departments to maintain an efficient, focused environment during both pre-production and shoot days. This role required balancing creative needs with logistical constraints, while also managing safety and flow on set. As Script Supervisor, maintained continuity in performance, blocking, and visual details, while also tracking script changes, timing takes, and logging footage for post-production efficiency. Additional work in other crew roles provided valuable insight into the demands of each department, fostering a deep respect for collaborative filmmaking. Working across a variety of narrative genres and commercial formats, each project required adaptability, discipline, and the ability to lead with clarity under pressure—all while staying attuned to the director’s vision and the rhythm of the production. These experiences shaped a reliable, communicative, and detail-driven approach to filmmaking.
